About Corisa Bell

“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our Children.” – Wendell Berry

Born in Northern British Columbia, Corisa moved to the Fraser Valley after graduating high school, returning to her roots in Maple Ridge to raise a family as a sixth-generation resident. She couldn’t be more proud of her two girls! Corisa’s success in the web development/software business has allowed her the hours required to serve on Council full-time thus far.

You’ll frequently find Corisa volunteering and devoting time to functions and events throughout the city. Working on council is a natural progression of her civic involvement, allowing her to both serve and better the community. She has served on many boards in the past, including Fight HST.
